Typical character of the Neapolitan Nativity. Made of terracotta head, wooden hands and feet, glass eyes to give a deeper expression.
He wears a shirt and a slip made of batista cotton and valenciennes lace; the skirt, the corset and the sleeves are of pure silk taffetà embroidered with silk yarn, linen cord and agremani, golden appliques. Hand painted cloths sewed by Lucia Azzurro #bluchiaraluce. The body is in hemp and iron, materials which allow to articulate better movements. The silver earings, the metal necklace and the wooden “nacchere” are hand carved. The manufacturing follows the 18th century Neapolitan Nativity tradition.
